This course prepares students to enter a non-trigonometry based, introductory level calculus course. Topics include a review of the fundamentals of algebra; solution of linear, fractional and quadratic equations; functions and their graphs; polynomial, exponential, logarithmic and rational functions; systems of linear equations. (Two years of high school algebra and score below 35% on the Mathematics Placement Exam) Class 4, Credit 4 (F, W, S, SU)
