A survey outlining the development of art in China, Korea and Japan examining the philosophical circumstances that distinguish eastern artistic traditions. There is opportunity for each student to pursue special interest in depth. Part of the art history, Chinese language/culture and Japanese language/culture concentrations and minors; the art history concentration and minor; and may also be taken as an elective.
