Description:
Provides students in the economics program with an opportunity to develop their skills in applied regression analysis. Covers the various regression models, estimation techniques, data preparation and transformation, and the interpretation of regression results. Particular emphasis on the dangers of misuse of regression techniques. Required course for economics majors. Part of the economics concentraton and minor. May also be taken as an elective. (0511-211 and 0511-402, 1016-226, 1016-319) Class 4, Credit 4 (offered occasionally)
