| Presents how PostScript-based desktop publishing technology is used as a front end to graphic arts prepress systems through an intensive study of the PostScript language and the algorithms used to convert PostScript programs into physical images. Students who take this course gain a deep understanding of how a modern desktop publishing system works and how to approach the task of establishing efficient workflows between clients who are originating work on desktop systems and the printer who deals with it in digital form.
