| The course is devoted to the review of basic cryptographic algorithms, their implementation and usage. Classical encryption techniques and those of Rivest-Shamir-Adleman and EL Gamal will be seen in depth, and an overview of several others will be presented. This course also presents authentication schemes and interactive proof protocols. Students will write a term paper, either theoretical based on literature or reporting a student's own implementation or experiments with a chosen cryptographic scheme.
